This is A Simply Awesome Tool For Creating, Organizing and Synchronizing

Are You Interested In Keeping Electronic Notebooks of Your Ideas and Staying Organized Across Your Phone and Computers?

I just finished this great WSJ article by Walter Mossberg on a very cool new service that allows you to keep virtual note books, organize photos, notes, web clippings and more across multiple computers and your smart phone.

This service – called EVERNOTE, is described as a virtual filing cabinet filled with virtual notebooks. And, while I haven’t tried it yet – I will after I post this – the description was so cool that I wanted you to test it our along with me.

Mossberg – reporting for the Wall Street Journal – has been a stern critic of technology junk and has given me some really good pointers accurate information on software and electronics over the years. If it’s hard to use, he’ll tell you. And he is enthusiastically endorsing EVERNOTE which is a free service.
You can click here to read a brief article on this creativity and organizational tool or see his video blog on Evernote Take note, the video is over five minutes.

If you’re a man or woman of action, here is the EVERNOTE download site for all platforms and device types.

So give it a try if your a creativity maven and note take like me that wants more organization over all of your computers and devices, and let me know what you think.

  • Dave: Great post! I have used Evernote for several months and have found it very useful. One thing I do is use the Evernote BlackBerry app when I am shopping for something. I take a picture of a product with the phone’s camera, and Evernote uploads it to my notebook. Once home, I have information on the different products without having to take handwritten notes on a scrap of paper. It is also good for storing information from web sites without clogging up the bookmarks in your browser and allows you to sort, search, and organize it as well. In this way it is great for research (legal or otherwise). I think you will enjoy it once you have used it!
